(1) Overview
1700 double-stand skin passing unit is two four-high tandem rolling mill, using German Siemag double skin passing process. It is mainly used for flat tinning raw plate and sheet and super thin sheet less than 1.0mm, and for secondary cold rolling production. The main task is to eliminate the yield platform of the very thin strip steel after cold rolling and annealing, and improve the subsequent forming performance, plate shape and surface quality. The main rolling mill adopts hydraulic pressing, with electric auxiliary pressure adjustment. After the transformation in 1998, the DC transmission adopts AEG company's ISA-D system, and the corresponding LOG system is hydraulic. The auxiliary drive is all controlled by PLC except for the pump control in the 2# oil depot. The PLC adopts Quantum series PLC. The annual design output is 120,000 tons.
The 1700 double-stand skin passing unit was put into production in 1978 and discontinued in December 2013.
