(1) Overview

1700 1# degreasing unit is a combination of chemical and electrochemical methods of oil removal line, used to clean the residual lubricant oil film on the surface of strip steel during rolling, is a necessary process before tinning strip steel. Annual design capacity is 105,000 tons.

The 1700 1# degreasing unit was commissioned in 1978 and discontinued in December 2013.
