China Shagang 5800 m³ blast furnace is the world's largest new blast furnace ironmaking project.

The foundation was laid out in 2008 in Shagang 5800 m³ and was put into production in 2009.

The project designed an annual output of 4.5 million tons of iron and water and 1,4500 tons of the highest Nissan iron water. In 2012, the iron and water were produced 5.04 million tons, and the maximum daily output was 15,000 tons, which became the only year for the highest production blast furnace in China. In 2011, the average process energy consumption was 379.1kgce/T iron. The indicators were far better than the international clean production level of the ironmaking process prescribed by the state, and the economic and social benefits were significant.

The design of Shagang 5800m³ blast furnace is based on the principle of "advanced, practical, reliable, economical, energy conservation, environmental protection", and adopts advanced process technology and equipment such as concentrate, high wind temperature, high top pressure, high -rich oxygen and large coal jet Since its establishment, the iron refining technology of blast furnaces, including new processes of independent integration of ingredients, comprehensive longevity technology of the furnace body, energy -saving high -wind temperature configuration technology, new environmental protection residue treatment technology with independent intellectual property rights of slag iron treatment technology, Shagang Group's leading iron steel process interface "one pack to the end" technology and high-richer oxygen coal spray technology, etc., have achieved the goals of high -quality, efficient, low consumption, environmental protection and low -cost production of blast furnaces.
